Velvet Geometric Blush and Gold Wedding Inspiration
This was a dream project from the start when Faith, from This Love Weds, approached us to create stationery for their geometric and VELVET styled shoot at Machine Shop in Minneapolis. This shoot would later appear on Black Bride Magazine. You can see the full story here.
For this editorial styled shoot Champagne Press created a die cut invitation with velvet lined envelope, a velvet ribbon escort card display that hung from the ceiling, and we worked with Carl from Trac Precision to make the gold hydro-cut monogram sign and table number. The pinks and golds femanine color palette was just what we needed as it was February in Minnesota and we were wrapping up another cloudy and cold winter. What a great way to kick off the Minnesota wedding season! Faith connected us with Clair from Hooked Calligraphy and her beautiful work is seen throughout all the paper goods and on the “Cocktails this Way” sign. Thanks for leading the way Claire!
This shoot is not lacking inspiration so make sure you see BOTH dresses, the velvet heels and the most beautiful floral designs and dreamy color palette. This is a real life couple if you’re wondering why they look so perfectly in love. Enjoy!
