How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Invitation

You’ve chosen a wedding date and booked the venue. You’re now ready to start looking for an invitation suite that sets the tone for your event. Classic and elegant, rustic, vintage or modern. Choose a style from our collection that reflects your event’s style or have us create something custom just for you. Shop by style not color.  You cannot go wrong with a classic invitation design style.

How formal is your wedding?

If it's black tie formal wedding consider traditional wording or a clean or calligraphy influenced design, one or two color printing, letterpress or metallic foil.  For a backyard barbeque you might consider something more playful for your wedding invitation design, include more relaxed wording, add twine, or a kraft envelope.

What is your venue like?

If your ceremony is happening on a beach you might want to consider a debossed palm leaf (inkless) or flowing calligraphy to reflect the ocean swells.  If it’s in a lavish art deco ballroom incorporate those patterns into the printed goods or choose deco style type.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Think about all the elements of your decor, colors, that will create your wedding “look”.  First shop by invitations that fit that style and then adjust based on your tastes and colors.  For example, stationery for a garden theme wedding might include watercolor floral illustrations throughout the paper pieces or be printed on wildflower plantable paper for a unique twist.

What’s your budget?

Prices of wedding stationery vary depending on print method so knowing your budget is important when trying to design different aspects of your invite.
